KOROR, Palau — The Palau government is supporting the closure of Jellyfish Lake despite the Koror State government’s insistence that it remains open.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Tourism said in a statement on May 16 that the closure of Jellyfish Lake is key “as it essentially removes additional stress that may be caused by visitors and human activities.”
A sign had been placed at Jellyfish Lake that it is closed, but Koror State Gov. Yositaka Adachi had the state rangers remove the sign and issued a statement that . . .
