It’s a cruel, cruel summer

The upcoming summer months have much in store for Guam business owners. Unfortunately, what’s in store is more related to increased costs and fees than anything else we might have hoped for. 

                 The most imminent of these increases is the 7% tariff increase at the Port Authority of Guam, which is set to take effect June 1. In an April 28 memo that port General Manager Joanne Brown sent to port users, the first year’s increase on consumer prices would mean . . .
