Marshallese pilot sues airlines for racial discrimination

A pilot for Aero Micronesia Inc., which does business as Asia Pacific Airlines, filed a lawsuit against his employer in the District Court of Guam on April 18, alleging racial discrimination and retaliation for reporting racial discrimination. 

Brian Dolan, who is of Marshallese descent and citizenship, filed charges of discrimination against Asia Pacific Airlines on Nov. 9, 2015 and April 8, 2016 with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and received a notification of right to sue on Jan. 25.
