Judiciary to move Supreme Court, purchase parking lot

HAGÅTÑA, Guam — The relocation of the Supreme Court to the Guam Historic Courthouse will soon begin along with the purchase of the Judiciary’s parking lot, Chief Justice of Guam Katherine A. Maraman said in her 2017 State of the Judiciary Address on May 2.

The Guam Judicial Center was built 26 years ago and can no longer fully serve the logistical needs of both the Superior Court and the Supreme Court, she said.
