Social Security up in 2016 for Guam and NMI

                 WASHINGTON, D.C. — The number of Social Security recipients and the total amount received in Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands increased in 2016. 

                 In 2016, there were 1,839 retired or disabled workers and 1,039 widows and widowers, parents, spouses and children of workers, receiving Social Security assistance in the Northern Mariana Islands. The amount is based on each recipient’s lifetime earing and averages . . .
