The Guam Economic Development Authority board of directors approved at its regular board meeting yesterday the provision of a maximum 72-month period from the signing of the approved hotel qualifying certificate for the construction of the proposed Citta di Mare by JMSH 11 LLC.
JMSH applied for the Special Hotel QC in August 2015, and it was approved in January 2016 by GEDA. The $133 million hotel planned to be built behind Acanta Mall in Tumon will have 500 rooms. GEDA and JMSH had been in negotiation for several months on its construction term . . .
