The regional chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation has officially added the Northern Mariana Islands to its name, making it Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI. The chapter president and CEO, Eric Tydingco, said he received word on the change from the chapter’s national adviser on March 16.
“Organizationally, it changes nothing in our operations,” Tydingco told the Journal. “This has always been about properly acknowledging the children of the CNMI,” who he said receive about 25% of the wishes granted by the chapter.
