FBI shares reason for Saipan raid on Imperial Pacific casino
The Federal Bureau of Investigation issued an official statement to the Journal today, clarifying the reason for its unannounced visit to the office of Imperial Pacific, which operates a casino in Saipan.
“The FBI conducted a search and made an arrest in response to the recent death of an individual working at the construction site of the Imperial Pacific Resort,” according to Michele Ernst, spokesperson for the FBI’s Honolulu division. She was referring to what U.S. and international media reports called “a raid.”
