Lack of affordable contractors stalls Tumon condo development

Tanota Partners LLC is planning on developing a 12-story condominium structure in Tumon, but its development has been stalled as the company has not found an affordable contractor.

“The problem is that because of the lack of workers, it’s hard to find contractors that can build it,” said Michael Z. Ysrael, the company’s general manager, in an interview with the Journal in late February.
