Japanese-focused limousine and resort operator to diversify business

The decline of Japanese tourism is pushing Toshio Yamamoto, president of GLS Yama’s Co., to diversify his business. GLS Yama’s, which does business as Guam Limousine Service and Tongan Resort, has catered to mostly Japanese tourists in its more than 40 years in business on Guam.

Yamamoto is planning on constructing a commercial building around 2,000 square feet with retail or service shops, business offices, warehouse space and parking in Dededo, along Route 3, around 1,000 feet west of Okkodo High School.
