Hopefuls eye governor’s seat in 2018 election

Lourdes A. Leon Guerrero, president, CEO and chairperson of the board of Bank of Guam and Joshua Tenorio, vice president of Guam Auto Spot, intend to run for governor and lieutenant governor, respectively, in 2018 under the Democratic Party. Leon Guerrero and Tenorio hope to offer “the people an excellent option for change,” Tenorio told the Journal. Leon Guerrero is a former senator and Tenorio has held positions as chief of staff for the governor and a legislative assistant, as well as other positions in the private sector.
