MAJURO, Marshall Islands — The Bank of the Marshall Islands is set to begin construction on a new headquarters and additional branch in Majuro in 2017.
Patrick Chen, president of the bank, told the Journal, “The building will be coming up this year,” though the bank is still working toward a precise date. Plans are in development, he said.
Construction cost will be high, he said, at “somewhere around $5 million.”
The complex will be located in Delap to the east of Majuro.
