TOKYO — The Northern Mariana Islands tourism industry put on a four-day campaign in mid-February to promote Saipan, Tinian and Rota to representatives of Japan's travel trade and media.
Seminars took place in Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo as part of the Marianas Visitors Authority’s annual campaign, with the aim of generating additional media coverage of the destinations and equipping travel agents with more knowledge so that they can better sell the islands and develop new tour packages.
