Docomo Pacific receives federal go-ahead for NMI Atisa cable

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Docomo Pacific now has the necessary Grant of Authority to land its Atisa cable connection in the Northern Mariana Islands.

The Federal Communications Commission announced Feb. 23 that it issued the Submarine Cable Landing License Grant of Authority to Docomo Pacific Inc. for the “fiber-optic submarine cable system connecting Guam with Saipan, Rota and Tinian in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.”
