APRA HARBOR, Guam — Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer moored at Naval Base Guam for its first scheduled port visit of its Western Pacific deployment with the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group on Feb. 3. During the port visit, the Wayne E. Meyer replenished its food stores and sailors enjoyed liberty in the community.
Since leaving San Diego for deployment on Jan. 5, the team sailed more than 8,000 nautical miles across the Eastern Pacific Ocean, conducted five replenishments-at-sea, performed more than 50 hours of flight operations and completed tasks assigned by 3rd . . .
