A booming Philippines economy — one that grew nearly 7% in the first half of 2016, according to the Asian Development Bank — is evidenced in the number of real estate offices that have popped up over the past several years.
The Philippines region of Re/Max Global, for one, has grown from four offices to more than 20 franchise locations under the ownership of Guam realtor Elizabeth C. Duenas and her business partners, who together purchased the brand’s Philippines region in 2012. Duenas is now the regional director of Re/Max Micronesia/Philippines . . .
