NMI to require monthly alcoholic and tobacco sales reports

 

CAPITOL HILL, Saipan — The Department of Commerce, Alcohol Beverage and Tobacco Control Division is now requiring all Class-2 tobacco merchant retailers as well as the Class-3 On-Sale, Class-4 Off-Sale and the Class-7 Special Liquor licensees to start submitting monthly sales reports of all alcoholic beverage and tobacco products commencing in January. The reports will be due for submission every 15 days of each succeeding month as stated in the notice, according to a Feb. 10 release from the Office of the Governor.

The data from these reports will address the elongated data gap . . .
