MAJURO, Marshall Islands — While the fishing transshipment industry in Majuro is thriving mightily, a private sector development will position the location as an industry hub for the future, with defined benefits for the Marshalls economy.
On Feb. 10, Pacific International Inc. and sister company Kramer Corp. hosted the grand opening of the Majuro Net Yard on the Kramer Dock.
The net yard will allow purse seiner fishing boats to repair nets in Majuro.
