TUMON, Guam — This January was the best January of all time for visitor arrivals, according to a Feb. 9 joint release from the Office of the Governor and the Guam Visitors Bureau. When compared to the previous year, January arrivals increased by 5.2% with 136,029 visitors Guam also just experienced its best year in tourism with more than 1.53 million visitors in 2016. Total fiscal year-to-date arrivals also increased 6.3%.
Japan arrivals decreased 9.1% this January versus last, while Korea arrivals increased by 15.3%. The China market grew by 90.6 . . .
