Cruz moves forward with minimum wage measure

 

HAGÅTÑA, Guam — Speaker Benjamin J.F. Cruz introduced Bill No. 20-34 on Feb. 13, which, if enacted, would require employers to pay workers no less than $9.20 an hour from Oct. 1 and no less than $10.10 an hour from October 2018. He issued a statement on Feb. 13 stating that the study reflected positive effects of the 2015 wage increase and that he is continuing his efforts to incrementally raise the hourly wage to $10.10 by 2018.
