MANGILAO, Guam — Guam Community College today unveiled a new logo and a “logo system” in conjunction with its 40th anniversary.
Jayne T. Flores, assistant director of communications and promotions for the school, formed an in-house collaborative group of staff and students from the Marketing Department to design a new logo and hired one of their own visual communications graduates, Angela Cabrera.
“We considered symbolism,” Flores said. “[We wanted] to include the Chamorro culture in some way, and we wanted the logo to look strong and sustainable.”
