CAPITOL HILL, Saipan — Gov. Edward J.B. Calvo ordered the Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation to start the process of accepting Northern Marianas Islands driver’s licenses without special conditions. The current practice at the Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation Motor Vehicles Division requires NMI driver’s license holders to present a letter from the NMI stating that the holder of that license has been driving for at least five years.
Calvo met with Sen. William M. Castro and NMI Press Secretary Ivan Blanco to share ideas about how Guam and the NMI may continue to work together . . .
