KOROR, Palau — Palau President Thomas E. Remengesau Jr. said that making Palau into a top tourist destination for high spenders will be one of his goals for the next four years.
“We will work together with [Olbiil Era Keluau] to enact a legislation that sets a clear direction in implementing [the] Pristine Paradise Palau brand and making Palau a high-end destination,” he said during a Dec. 21 press conference.
The president said attracting quality rather than quantity of tourists is consistent among high-end destinations.
