With the end of the management agreement for the operation of Pacific Islands Club Saipan coming up in January 2018, representatives from both parties are silent on plans after the expiration. The 308-room hotel is owned by E-Land and is operated by previous owners P.H.R. Ken Micronesia Inc., which does business as Ken Corp.
Options following the expiration of the contract include extension, rebranding or bringing in a franchise, according to Journal sources.
