CHICAGO — United Airlines announced on Dec. 9 that it will add 14 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to its fleet featuring the United Polaris business-class seats, starting regularly scheduled service in February.
The aircraft also debuts United’s new wide-body cabin design, adding another seat per economy row with a 3-4-3 configuration in contrast to its previous 2-5-2 or 3-3-3 configuration in the Boeing 777-200, while maintaining the standard seat pitch at 34” for Economy Plus and 31” for Economy seats.
