Guam Business Partners for Recycling Inc., the nonprofit that created the i*recycle program, is bringing in plastic 6-cubic-yard recycling bins to replace the metal 8-cubic-yard bins that were placed at participating schools in 2007. The Pay-Less Community Foundation donated $11,000 from its 2014 Kick the Fat 5K event to cover the cost of nine bins. Coast 360 Federal Credit Union donated $5,500 to cover the cost of five bins.
