Ken Corp. hotels see change of management

TUMON, Guam — Hiroki Sugie assumed the general manager position at Hotel Nikko Guam, a property of Tokyo-based Ken Corp Ltd., on Dec. 1 upon General Manager Masaaki Kawanabe’s retirement, according to information provided to the Journal from the hotel. Sugie will transfer from his position of five years as general manager of Pacific Islands Club Saipan.

Assuming the head seat at PIC Saipan effective Nov.1 is Yoshihito Shibahata, who will be coming from less than six months in the position of assistant general manager at Hotel Nikko Guam. Prior to the Nikko, Shibahata was employed as assistant . . .
