Tinian International Airport continues terminal improvements

Capital improvement projects are continuing at the Tinian International Airport. Some $2.3 million will go to improvements toward the airport’s terminal, including the installation of reinforcement and formworks for concrete stairs, the installation of reinforcement and formworks for retrofit walls, the installation of vinyl tiles and the fabrication and installation of a chain-link fence.

Originally projected to cost $1.9 million, construction on the projects began on June 22, 2015 and was to be completed by March 18. However, the project was delayed and the Commonwealth Ports Authority approved change orders to . . .
