TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan — The Taiwan Centers for Disease Control has increased its travel alert notice for Palau as a result of the first indigenous case of the Zika virus announced by the Palau Bureau of Public Health on Nov. 7. On Nov. 9, the CDC announced that Palau has been placed on Level 2 alert notice, wherein pregnant women and women planning pregnancy are advised to postpone their trips to the destination. The Taiwan CDC has issued Level 2 alerts for 64 other countries as well . . .
