TAMUNING, Guam — Tiger Airways Singapore Pte Ltd., which does business as Tigerair, a budget airline headquartered in Singapore, has begun the application process with federal agencies to serve a Taiwan-Guam route, according to Rolenda L. Faasuamalie, marketing administrator and spokesperson of A.B. Won Pat International Airport, Guam.
The airline is working on extended operations, or an ETOPS application, with the U.S. Department of Transportation to request full authorization to provide passenger services. Tigerair is also working on the Advance Passenger Information System with the U.S. Customs & Border protection
