Saipan’s first Startup Weekend brings out ‘raw talent’

SAN ANTONIO, Saipan — A gym concept called My-G came out on top at Saipan’s first-ever Startup Weekend, held Nov. 3 to 5 at the Pacific Islands Club Saipan. The team of four targeted the problem of obesity and diabetes on Saipan with their business concept and separated themselves from other gyms on island by introducing technology to fitness and using an existing building that is not in use today, the Haraguchi Building on Beach Road.
