ADELUP, Guam — The offices of Guam Gov. Edward J. Baza Calvo and Northern Mariana Islands Gov. Ralph de Leon Guerrero Torres jointly announced on Nov. 3 that an agreement to strengthen Guam-NMI governmental partnerships, regional policy and joint-resource utilization is underway.
A draft memorandum of agreement stipulates that the two governments commit to working in good faith in these areas toward the development of economic linkages and community outreach. In addition to continuing partnerships in times of natural disaster, the agreement enables both governments to work toward the placement and coordination of an NMI liaison and medical referral . . .
