BARRIGADA, Guam — Lt. Col. Emmanuel G. Escaba took command of
the First Battalion, 294th
Infantry Regiment, the Guam Army National Guard’s largest unit, during a change of command ceremony on Oct. 1. Escaba has more than 29 years of service as an enlisted soldier and officer. He has served in various leadership positions throughout his career, most recently as comptroller division chief assigned to the U.S. Property and Fiscal Office, according to a release.
Lt. Col. Romeo J. Delfin had been commander of the unit since June 2014 . . .
