FADANG, Saipan — Eastar Jet became the latest South Korean low-cost carrier to begin nonstop flights to Saipan, its inaugural flight landing at the Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport on Oct. 24. The Boeing 737-800 plane, carrying 124 passengers and crew, touched down at 4:20 p.m., slightly delayed from its scheduled arrival time of 4 p.m.
Eastar joins the growing list of air carriers that serve Saipan following Hong Kong Airlines, Philippine Airlines Express, Jin Air, Jeju Air, Asiana Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, China Eastern and Dynamic Airways . . .
