USCIS files for dismissal, Hong Kong Entertainment amends complaint in CW visa case


The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services filed a motion to dismiss against the agency and secretary of U.S. Department of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson for denying the company’s I-129 CW-1 visa petitions.

Hong Kong Entertainment (Overseas) Investment Ltd., which does business as Tinian Dynasty, filed a complaint with the Northern Mariana Islands District Court on March 7 after USCIS denied the company’s CW-1 petitions on Dec. 9, 2014 and subsequent appeals in 2015 based on the grounds that the company was not engaged in a legitimate business for CW purposes.
