Truck Enforcement Screening Station opens for trial period

 

TAMUNING, Guam — The Department of Public Works announced the opening of the Truck Enforcement Screening Station beginning Oct. 5. The TESS facility, funded by the Federal Highway Administration, is located along Route 11 and includes Advance Weigh-In-Motion scales, a license plate recognition camera, multiple other cameras and a static platform scale capable of weighing vehicles up to 100 tons.

Individuals and companies that haul items and freight are required to bring their vehicles through the TESS facility if directed to do so. DPW will provide feedback and support on vehicle weight limit compliance, but no fines or . . .
