GARAPAN, Saipan — Saipan airport customs officers intercepted 36 boxes of illegal insecticides from three contract construction workers on an Asiana Airlines flight from China on Aug. 31, according to a release from the Office of the Governor. The products included eight brands of mosquito coils bearing Chinese labeling and no Environmental Protection Agency establishment number indicating that the products were not manufactured in a U.S. EPA registered establishment.
