The brothers behind the Meskla restaurants, Peter and Bryan Duenas, and their partner, Paul Perez, have teamed up to open a restaurant with a Chamorro spin on Southern-style fried chicken. Within a matter of weeks, they opened Stinger’s Hot Chicken & Ribs on Aug. 22.
“It all started with a piece of chicken,” said Bryan Duenas, who manages the new restaurant. “My brother went to Tennessee, came back and said, ‘You should try this chicken.’ So I tried it, called my partner, Paul, who is a general contractor and master electrician.”
