NMI secures bond payments but public servants will work less

GUALO RAI Saipan - The cash-strapped Northern Mariana Islands government has secured an appropriation of $8.4 million for payment of its bond debts in fiscal 2012 but government employees will have to work 16 hours less per payroll as tax collections continue to plunge with fewer tourists visiting the islands . . .
