Global package delivery and cargo logistics provider UPS will begin weekly air-freight service to Guam June 12 the Journal has learned. The Sunday flights on a 747 freighter aircraft will arrive from Honolulu and proceed from Guam to Hong Kong according to Lyn Baker president of JL Baker & Sons the service contractor for UPS on Guam. The service begins four weeks after FedEx began weekly freighter flights to Guam from its Anchorage hub.
