Nobel laureate cites RP efforts toward renewable energy

MANILA Philippines – Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore encouraged Philippine businesses to get on the environment bandwagon saying that cutting down on carbon emissions could be profitable too. In his lecture at the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia on June 8 Gore also cited the Philippines' efforts toward using renewable energy sources by pointing to the Bangui Wind Farm in Ilocos Norte the Solar Power Plant in Laguna and the Mount Apo Geothermal Power Plant in North Cotabato Mindanao . . .
