U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. John W. Doucette has been named to be commanding officer of the 36th Wing based at Andersen Air Force Base. He is currently special assistant to the director of the joint staff for general officer and flag officer matters for the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. He was nominated to his current rank in March. Doucette holds a bachelor's in mechanical engineering and a master's in industrial engineering both from Oklahoma State University. He is a command pilot with more than 2 500 hours of flight time primarily in the F-15C . . .
