Filipino restaurant hopes to open on Guam

GUALO RAI Saipan - A Saipan restaurant popular for its binalot meals - Filipino dishes wrapped with banana leaves - hopes to someday bring a touch of home to Filipinos on Guam. Elizabeth Tengco Miyata owner of JHEMS Restaurant told the Journal that she has long been considering opening a branch of the restaurant on Guam. "Some of our customers who come from Guam have been encouraging us to bring JHEMS to Guam "" Miyata said.
