Taking photos in public is a right

While we're not sure it's worth $3 million we are concerned about the confiscation of the James Adkins' photographs by the police. By all accounts Adkins was stopped by the police for taking photographs of a traffic accident near his home. When he refused to relinquish his cell phone camera he was arrested and the camera confiscated . . .
