Conservative projection for revenues from gross receipt taxes

Preliminary unaudited financials tracked by the Guam Bureau of Budget Management and Research show that the local government's collection of business privilege taxes or gross receipt taxes in fiscal 2009 amounted to $184.2 million a decrease of 0.9% from fiscal 2008 when GRT collections totaled $185.8 million.
