JAL restructuring may mean budget airline to Guam Saipan

In any other year Japan Airlines' figures for the New Year vacation period would have made encouraging reading. This year the fact that seat load factors between Dec. 25 and Jan. 5 were more than nine percentage points better than the same period last year - and surpassed 90% on some routes including Guam and Hawaii - has been more than overshadowed by the imminent bankruptcy of Japan's national carrier . . .
