Emerging energy – GPA goes prepaid

Financial institutions and telecommunications firms pioneered the idea of pre-paying for services and now energy has picked up the pay-as-you-go concept. As an efficient way to keep consumers within a budget and gauge their expenditures the Guam Power Authority received approval from the Consolidated Commission on Utilities to execute a Prepaid Metering Pilot Project for GPA residential patrons.
