U.S. Secretary of the Navy reiterates commitment to military buildup

Despite rumbles from segments of Japan's political opposition parties about the projected cost of military housing construction and Hawaii's congressional representative's proposal to raise buildup-related construction wages Ray Mabus U.S. Secretary of the Navy said these issues will be worked through and the federal government remains committed to the transfer of 8 000 Marines from Okinawa and the associated buildup on Guam . . .
