Filipinos mourn leader who put RP back on the investment map

MANILA Philippines - Corazon C. Aquino the president who put the Philippines back on the investment map died on Aug. 1 and was laid to rest on Aug. 5. She was 76.The entire Metro Manila was awash in yellow as about 300 000 Filipinos turned out for the funeral Mass and procession for the Philippines and Southeast Asia's first female head of state. She had succumbed to cardiac arrest after a yearlong bout with colon cancer . . .
