From Saipan to San Jose Yoon expands supermarket chain to Guam

After carefully studying the market for three years a Saipan-based businessman who owns a chain of supermarkets is opening a store in the Town House Furniture Store building in Maite.Ho Jin Yoon president Payless Super Market told the Journal that he is opening a store on Guam in April and that he is investing around $700 000 in the new store. According to Yoon the San Jose Supermarket on Guam will occupy a 14 000 square-foot property he leased from Kenneth T. Jones Jr. the late president and chairman of Jones & Guerrero Co. Inc.
